Peoria County Public Defender’s Office is in Search of a Paralegal
We are looking for a dynamic paralegal to assist our staff of criminal defense attorneys. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, forward thinking, able to prioritize assignments, produce timely and quality work, and possess the drive and initiative to work in a fast paced, professional environment with little oversight. Candidates must have strong organizational skills, be able to communicate effectively with both attorneys and clients in a professional manner, have strong grammatical and typing skills, and a keen attention to detail. Benefits include IMRF pension, health, vision, dental, HSA/FSA, paid time off, and working with a great team of attorneys and other support staff.
Experience is preferred but not required.
