Peoria Criminal Records Relief Clinic – Client Registration

PILI’s Tenth Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee, in partnership with Prairie State Legal Services, will be holding a free Criminal Records Relief Clinic that will provide legal assistance to individuals seeking to expunge or seal their criminal record. Volunteer attorneys will consult with you on your available options, prepare the documents to request an expungement or sealing of your eligible records, and provide guidance on the process. This clinic does not help with pending criminal charges. Your criminal records will not be expunged or sealed on the day of the clinic. A judge will make a decision about whether to expunge or seal your criminal records at a hearing.

The Criminal Records Relief Clinic will take place in person at the Goodwill Commons Community Room in Peoria on April 26th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

This clinic is free, but registration is required in order to guarantee an appointment time. Once you fill out the pre-registration form, you will be contacted to provide further information and finalize an appointment time. Clients need to meet financial guidelines for eligibility.
